Equine Rubber Matting

Premium Quality Rubber Matting For Stable Boxes, Breezeways, Walkers, Wash Bays, Floats & More.

versatile Range · Premium Durability · Unmatched quality

Equine rubber flooring solutions for every surface, supplied and fitted.

At Amacron Equine, we specialise in premium rubber matting solutions designed to create safe, hygienic and comfortable flooring for horses and handlers alike. Whether fitting out a single stable or a large equine complex, our products provide exceptional durability, traction and long-term value while reducing bedding use and maintenance time.

Horse people know not all rubber is the same. Lower‑grade rubber soaks up moisture and holds odour. Ours is vulcanised and fully sealed to maintain quality, and is made for heavy everyday equine use rather than a season or two.

RUBBER FLOORING SOLUTIONS FOR every surface

From stables to horse walkers, our rubber matting has got you covered.

Most enquiries start with the boxes and end up covering the breezeway, the wash bay and the float as well. Put it in one quote and it ships on one freight run.

The range

Four decisions, not forty products.

Most stables land on one of these. Every job is quoted on its own numbers, because it depends on your box count, your floor dimensions and where the freight has to go.

Formats and fitting

We'll Help You Find The Best Solution To Suit Your Space.

Boxes, breezeways, wash bays and floats require different matting solutions. Here are the three formats and what each one actually involves on site.

Interlocking rubber tiles

Stables and boxes · 12 to 25mm

  • Lock together on site, so no adhesives are needed in an enclosed box.
  • Double-stud base lets air and moisture move underneath instead of sitting there.
  • Fully sealed and non-porous, so nothing soaks in and nothing harbours bacteria.
  • Thickness matched to the horse and the floor, from 12mm through to 25mm.
  • Supplied in sets, with a minimum of ten mats.

Rubber on the roll

Breezeways and aisles · 10 to 14mm

  • Two metre wide rolls with a hammer-blow dimple surface for grip underfoot.
  • Joined neatly on site for a near seamless finish down a long run.
  • Cut close to your dimensions with a small allowance for trimming in place.
  • Fewer edges and fewer joins, which is what you want in a high traffic walkway.
  • Available in 10mm and 14mm.

Semi-cured “sticky” rubber

Wash bays and floats · 10mm

  • 90% natural rubber reinforced with nylon cord, not a recycled crumb product.
  • Exceptional grip wet or dry, which is why it goes into wash bays and floats.
  • Made to your measurements rather than tiled, so it follows the shape of the space.
  • Larger areas may arrive in a few pieces and be joined on site.
  • Made to order, so allow six to eight weeks.

Why it pays for itself

Concrete costs you money every single morning.

Bare concrete is cold, loud and unforgiving. You bury it under bedding to make it liveable, then pay to buy that bedding, pay to barrow it out, and pay again when a horse comes up sore on a hard floor.
